New Title

As we prepare to celebrate the 71st Annual Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni Homecoming, we proudly recognize Ms. Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni 2024, Treva Brewington (’96), who will soon conclude her reign and pass the crown to another deserving Queen on Thursday, May 21, 2026. We extend our deepest appreciation to Queen Treva for her grace, dedication, and unwavering pride over the past two years. Her reign leaves a lasting mark on our organization and reflects the very essence of alumni leadership and service.

The DGAF King and Queen Contest stands as one of the Alumni Association’s most cherished traditions and one of our most successful scholarship fundraising initiatives. After a meaningful pause in 2025 to honor 70 years of Queens who paved the way, the contest returns during this historic 71st Homecoming celebration—reimagined, energized, and rooted in purpose.

We proudly congratulate our 2026 contestants—an extraordinary group of women who have answered the call to lead. For the first time in contest history, each contestant will represent her alumni class, rallying classmates and supporters in a spirited effort to raise scholarship funds and invest in the next generation.

This year’s King and Queen Contest is more than a competition—it is a celebration of tradition, unity, and the enduring power of alumni giving.
