The 2nd Annual Community Holiday Party was a joyful celebration of community, generosity, and togetherness. The National President of Dillard/Goldsboro Alumni & Friends, Inc. and the Alumni Queen brought holiday cheer to life by serving as Santa and Mrs. Claus, creating magical moments for children and families alike.
Dozens of Alumni Association members volunteered their time to ensure the event was a success, working side by side to serve, entertain, and spread holiday spirit. We were grateful for the support of our community partners—The Lighthouse, Pizza Hut, and Sam’s Club—who helped provide food and refreshments for families in attendance.
The festivities were brought to life with music by DJ Joe Baker, while Gator Bouncy House and Party Rentals thrilled children with a popular gaming truck that stayed busy throughout the event.
In advance of the celebration, residents of Lincoln Homes were invited to submit holiday wish lists, allowing us to personalize the experience. As a result, we served 30 families and distributed customized gifts to 88 children ranging in age from 3 months to 18 years old.
This holiday party reflected DGAF, Inc.’s ongoing commitment to meeting community needs with dignity, intention, and love—reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and supported during the holiday season and beyond.
